Interested in posing for your own fine art photo shoot? The Questions & Answers below should tell you everything you need to know. (If not, just ask!)
FAQ
Q. I see you have a lot of photographs on your website. Will my photos appear on the internet?
A. That's entirely up to you. The photos we create together are for you. If you'd like to share them with the world, I'll be happy to include them on my website. But I would never do so without your written consent.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. I only charge $100 for a studio photo shoot. That includes the shoot itself (typically between one and two hours) as well as my time to process the photos and provide you with proofs. If you choose to order prints and/or digital images, there would be an additional cost.
Q. Can I cover up certain areas of my body?
A. Absolutely. What, if anything, you choose to wear and what, if anything, you choose to show is completely up to you. We can, of course, shoot a full range of looks allowing you to decide after you see the results which ones you'd like to keep and which ones you'd rather not.
Q. Do you only shoot black & white?
A. I personally feel that black & white is the ideal medium for capturing the human form and the beauty that can be created through the artistic use of light and shadows. That said, I shoot digitally, which means the original raw images are in full color. If you'd like to see some proofs in color, just let me know.
Q. Do you only shoot women?
A. No. I'm perfectly happy shooting men as well.
Q. What about couples or pregnancy shoots?
A. Absolutely! I love working with couples of any orientation and find working with mothers-to-be an absolute joy.
Q. Where can I see some examples of your work?
A. You can find hundreds of images I've created on my website, davewoodphotography.com.
